Stillwater Lines is an indie songwriter from The Cabin, New Zealand, making acoustic rock with a Christian heart and a storyteller’s ear. His songs sit where warm, strummed guitars meet plainspoken lyrics—built for late-night drives, small-room singalongs, and the moments you’re trying to make sense of. You can hear echoes of We Are Messengers and Brooke Fraser in the faith-forward lift, nods to Jon Toogood’s grit, the honesty of Georgia Lines, and the narrative pull of Bruce Springsteen and Cat Stevens, all threaded through a distinctly local calm.

The project was reshaped in 2024 after a car crash changed everything. Stillwater Lines retreated to a rural Waikato cabin to rebuild—mentally, physically, and musically—relearning how to write and play from the ground up. With a couple of guitars and a keyboard as his tools, he carved out a “Cabin” season of focused, honest work, shaping 16 songs that lean into resilience, hope, and the everyday details that make belief feel real.
