ABOUT STILLWATER LINES
Stillwater Lines is a songwriter and music producer from Hamilton, New Zealand, making music built for the quiet hours when people most need company. You can hear echoes of We Are Messengers and Brooke Fraser in the faith-forward lift, nods to Jon Toogood’s grit, the honesty of Robbie Williams and Georgia Lines, and the narrative pull of Bruce Springsteen and Cat Stevens, all threaded through a distinctly calming sound that truly puts Stillwater Lines in a place of his own.
The project was created in 2024 after a near-fatal car crash and the ending of his previous band IVYBLUE changed everything. Stillwater Lines retreated to a rural Waikato cabin to rebuild from the ground up. With limited musical and recording equipment, he carved out a “Cabin” season of focused, honest work that leans into resilience, hope, and the little things that make life beautiful while showing how music and faith can hold someone together when little else will.
“The goal has always been to engage culture in conversation about the light and darkness in life, using words and melody to talk about some of the hardest things we feel while still being human at the core of the stories the music has to tell”. - Stillwater Lines
Stillwater Lines released his debut EP's 'Riverlights' and 'SPARKS' in 2026 and will be releasing his debut studio album 'The Hartford Heights Project' on January 8th 2027.
He is also one of the crazy cowboys at Figjamin who help develop and promote grassroots artists and musicians throughout New Zealand. He has also been involved with Future Te Aroha as a performer and a helper since 2000.
